Rona Joyner:Qld FOL/CSO Submission on Religion Freedom continued...

Conclusion:

Every society must have its own religious base, and ours has been Christianity since the early days in our British history.  Over recent decades an influential intolerance and discrimination against our national religion has been built up by those who believe and support the anti-God tenets of Humanism rather than the nationally-established Christian ethic.

This submission gives historical evidence of the establishment of Christianity first as Britain's national religion, and then also Australia's by virtue of our inherited Colonial links with the Crown of the United Kingdom and Ireland.

Hereditary links with the monarchy must be preserved to ensure the political peace and safety of future generations of Australians, through the indissoluble Constitutional contract made in the presence of Almighty God between the people and the Queen and Her heirs and successors forever.  No way of changing our religious base is provided.  Christianity is legally entrenched. Sociologists say it is a 'death-wish' for any society to smash its own base and substitute another totally different basis.

It is the contention of this submission that our Australian Governments over many years have been guilty of unlawful breaching of State and Federal Constitutions. There has been unlawful and unconstitutional interference with the relationship between the Queen and Her Vice-Regal Representatives, and the giving of Royal Assent. This has resulted in Royal Assent being unconstitutionally given to Bills presented to the Governor-General and to Governors, that breached sections of the Constitutions, Magna Carta and the Law of the Land.

The cause of the intolerance suffered by Christianity is probably the fact that the Christian religion is unique, in that it is the only religion in the world that was devised by God according to His heavenly blueprint. All other religions are devised by man under Satan's directions. Therefore no other religion can ever be like Christianity, and no compromise with any other religion can be made. Christian religious freedom cannot be limited or modified without being lost. Promotion by academics of the influence of Humanism (secular, ethical and scientific) and the unlawful breaching of Oaths of Allegiance are significant problems in political, judicial and Ministerial circles. Such behaviour is criminal and it automatically violates Christian freedom.

The undermining of Christianity's authority over our society's community standards is comparatively recent. The decline of Christian influence is foretold in prophetic Scripture. It has come about as the direct result of:

(1) government violation of Christianity's lawful freedom to influence the handling of political issues, and

(2) the gradual establishment of a rival religious base through making laws contrary to Section 116 of the Commonwealth Constitution.

What Has to be Addressed:

The systematic violation of Christianity's God-ordained freedoms;

The Ministerial failure to live up to and act upon their pledges to serve God and Queen;

The Parliamentary failure to live up to and act upon their pledges to serve God and Queen;

The Vice-regal failure to live up to the binding Oaths of Office and the Constitutional requirements (S.61) to protect the subjects of the Queen.

I therefore submit that a strict adherence to the law be the only course available to the Committee and that the right to freedom of religion be upheld under Sec.116. The Queen has a duty to uphold the Laws of God and Christianity as Australia's national religion.

Seven hundred and eighty-four years ago in June, 1215, John, King of England met the barons at Runnymede. There the barons made demands, the "articles of the barons", which when the king accepted them, became the Great Charter. Once the Great Seal was affixed copies were sent to castles and cathedrals through the land so that; "all men would know and keep it well." I believe this should be done again, and that the teaching of the authentic contents of all of the Imperial Acts be made a compulsory part of the school curriculum. The liberties and freedoms in it have continued since 1215 set down as guarantees forever between the sovereign and the subjects, and every citizen should be made aware of their rights..

"When the colonists crossed the seas from England and settled in other lands they took with them the principles set down in the Great Charter. They planted in the colonies the roots of freedom under the law. Look at the Constitution of the United States. Look, too, at the Bill of Rights. They are direct descendants of the Great Charter." (Denning, Master of the Rolls. Royal Courts of Justice, London, (1964).

But modern-day politicians have taken powers unto themselves to which, we say, they are not entitled. Essentially, they're saying that they are now the only people who are capable of understanding what is best for the whole community and of putting it in place. They now imply that only they have a monopoly on judgment, knowledge and common-sense. Well, there's a dictionary word for that - it's called, Fascism.

Political Peace and Safety is the Legacy of Freedom of Christianity: The author has read two books by world-renowned sociologists, Unwin and Sorokin (not Christians), wherein they have individually published their separate and well-researched findings, demonstrating beyond doubt that every society needs to have and maintain its own distinctive religious base to remain strong and viable. Fragmentation of religion produces political instability and dissension. A strong Christian base, honoured and valued by the nation, produces political peace, safety and security. All laws in violation of God's Laws must be declared invalid, and rewritten.

We have endeavoured to include in this submission responses to the three topics suggested by the Terms of Reference by incorporating them under the sub-headings we have used in the development of our argument. This paper presents ideas and concepts where applicable from two different perspectives:

(1) the private, personal and/or spiritual perspective of a topic; and

(2) the Civic, Constitutional and/or Legislative perspective of a topic.

For example, Section 116 provides protection of private and personal religion, and of our National religion as the foundation of good government. Personal and political peace, safety and security is the legacy of the serious observance of this section.
