The short answer to this Question is to be found in Jeremiah 6.16a "Ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein. . ."
We will need to establish bases, expose problems, and make recommendations for effective reversal of the unsatisfactory community standards and the complete restoration of the lawful Christian basis of good government, combined with a return to political honouring of God, the Constitutions, the Oaths of Allegiance and of Office, the Royal Prerogative, and the Rule of Law.
The very great importance of these Oaths, the Commonwealth and Colonial Constitutions, the Covering Clause 5 and Sections 58 to 60 and 116 of the Commonwealth Constitution, and the State Imperial Acts Application Acts enacted in the 1980s must be recognized.
Australia's Oaths of Allegiance, Oaths of Office, etc., are based on the Oath entrenched in the Bill of Rights 1689, to confirm that what the Monarch swore to uphold, all Australians, especially the lawmakers in Parliament, Judges in the Courts, and the Police, must also uphold. All vows are meant to be kept, not broken with impunity.
If such an Oath is broken, it is not only a serious breach of the Criminal Code and the Crimes Act, it is also a sin against God and a violation of the freedom of the Christian religion, which must be taken seriously from the Constitutional or Legislative perspective.
The freedom of Christianity also suffers at the hands of Governors and Governors-General who are not true to their oaths of office, and their vice-regal commission.
Measures for improvement
Our objective is to urge the Government to be genuine about the Freedom of Religion and Belief in this country. If the government is genuine in its desire to protect freedom of religion and belief, then it needs to show that it is. It must -
(1) cease to discriminate against, and undermine, Australia's established Christian basis whose legacy to us has always been personal and political peace, safety and security, setting us apart from non-Christian countries.
(2) ensure that Parliament, the Judiciary and the Police give serious recognition to the Ten Commandments and the Parliamentary Opening Prayer that shows that Christianity is "part and parcel of the Law of the land."
(3) restore true allegiance to the Queen and to Christ the King of kings, and absolute obedience to Oaths taken;
(4) ensure that it upholds the Constitution, especially Covering Clause 5, Section 116, and all entrenched laws;
(5) declare all previous laws invalid that have been passed in breach of the Ten Commandments, the rule of law, etc., or that are consistent with the tenets of Humanism (and thus in breach of the Christian Worldview).
(6) admit that many of our rights have been lost by laws furthering the aims of Humanism and establishing an anti-God religion in this Constitutionally established Christian nation (thus being in breach of Section 116).
(7) act on our recommendation to maintain personal and political peace and safety as the legacy of all future generations of Australians, through keeping intact the indissoluble Constitutional contract made in the presence of Almighty God between people, the Queen and Her heirs and successors forever.
This will promote lawful influence of our national Christian religion in Australia, and the author believes this submission has the support of the Queensland executive and membership of FOL/CSO when it asserts that a return to our lawfully established Christian relilgion is the only viable means of reversing the downsliding of community life in Australia. Only an urgent return to Christian values will save Australia, because dismantling a nation's basic religious values is a death-wish proven from history throughout the ages.
Possible solutions to the many injustices to Christian parents suffered through the Humanist education system are -
1. To return to the 1964 Parliamentary statement by the then Minister for Education that State education is funded for the purpose of transmitting the Christian culture from one generation to the next; or
2. To follow the lead of the Kansas State Board of Education in America, which on 12/8/99 voted to leave evolution out of science standards for Kansas students, thus giving support to Biblical moral values; or
3. To set up two parallel strands of education - one to provide freedom FOR the transmission of the national Christian religion and culture, and the other to give freedom FROM Christianity to anti-Christian parents who wish to have the choice.
"Freedom OF Religion" must not be equated with "Freedom FROM Religion". Australia has always been and still is a Christian country by virtue of each Monarch's Coronation Oath, which makes each Monarch "Defender of THE FAITH". Therefore, Her Majesty is under absolute allegiance to Jesus Christ, the true Sovereign of Australia by Divine Right. Every Australian, by birth or by naturalization, is under everlasting allegiance to Her Majesty, and through Her to Jesus Christ, the King of kings.
The violation of religious freedom has historically been associated with either torture or death of Christians. However, in modern times, a different means of violating the religion and beliefs of Christianity have been devised:
Psychological techniques, especially throughout the Education system, aimed at changing and destroying values (such as honouring and obeying parents), which make up the Christian basis of family relationships
This have been the means of denying religious freedom to many individual Christians in Australia, with the exception of those who home-school.
This paper has detailed many of the causes of the problems experienced by our community as a direct result of the following unlawful official discrimination against Christianity over many years:
