After school came the Navy and near heart failure for me with our country at war. I am fortunate my son came home. I pray for the soilders so far from home, and I especially pray for their Mothers. As I said, my son came home and is now gainfully employed and attending college. His goal is to become a history teacher and go back to Borah High School in Boise, Idaho to teach.

My daughter the "Princess" is 16 yrs. old and finally able to date. Let me tell you how quickly those "you can't date until you're 16" years flew by. It was in the twinkling of an eye! Aside from boys... She is in drama club at school and wants to be an actress. Wisely she has chosen drama as her minor as she sets her sights on college. Her major will be engineering. (Just something to fall back on...) Most day you can find her sitting in her room burning candles and inncense designing buildings and clothing, (which she does very well) and NO, she was not conceived at Woodstock! -

My 9 yr. oldand 7 yr. oldjust make me laugh. Every day is an adventure with these two. Everything is magical. My 10 yr. old wants to be a magician when he grows up and once was the opening act at a festival in a small town in Arkansas. My 7 yr. old wants to be a crayon maker!

We have a wonderful dog named "Michael." He is an Australian Shepard. We got him from our local shelter. My 6 yr. old wanted a dog for his birthday and it was love at first sight. "Michael" has proven to be an exceptional guardian and loving companion for us all. I swear he is a person trapped in a dogs body. We love him so much and I suggest to anyone looking for a loving, furry companion to go to their local animal shelters. There are literally hundreds of dogs and cats just waiting to be placed in loving homes.

We have a new addition to our furry family. A miniature poodle named "Joey", altho "Spaz" would've been the more appropriate name! He is a little bolt of high energy and already he has found a special place in our hearts. Again, we got our furry friend from our local shelter.

I collect them. Anything in a heart shape. Over the years my children have even collected several heart shaped rocks for me. We call them "I Love You" rocks.
