In the darkest hour, hope springs eternal

Quite a few years back, on the quite unsucessful Sega CD system, was released one of the most monumental role playing games in recent history. The game was called Lunar:The Silver Star Story. It was created by Game Arts in Japan, and was translated to English by a company called Working Designs. It was applauded as one of the best games released for the short lived system, and a great tragedy, because so few owned this console and got a chance to experience it.

Working Designs is no longer producing titles for Sega consoles. The Lunar remix, Silver Star Story was to be released on the Sega Saturn. Now that the Saturn is no longer with us, the project has been scrapped and work is being finished on a Playstation version of the game. It's been nearly two years since the original Saturn version was released in Japan. The American release date of Silver Star Story is suposed to be around August 98, then got pushed back to October, then December, and now February. Working Designs is ABSOLUTELY NOTORIOUS for not making the deadlines they set. We're keeping our fingers crossed, and we're quite anxious to see what they've done to improve the Japanese version.
