Well, you must know by now that I spend a lot of time fooling around on the computer. Since my Humans are gone most of the day, I have lots of time to surf. Here are some the most interesting sites I've found. These are my favorites. I hope they'll be yours too!! If you know of a great link that should be on this page or if you would like to link back to my kingdom, click here to e-mail me
I've created links to the various subjects. Just click on a link below and it'll move you to the area you want to see.
ANIMAL ORGANIZATIONS
- South Suburban Humane Society Yes folks, this is where I was born. This organization works to find homes for dogs, cats, lizards, turtles, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, birds and other animals throughout Chicago's South Suburbs.
- Animal Welfare League This organization is also located in Chicago's south suburbs. Its goal is to find homes to the many animals that come through its doors. Your Human can order special checks from this group printed with a picture of you!
- The Humane Society of the United States The parent organization of humane societies across the U.S. Sign up for their free activist alert e-mail newsletter.
- World Wildlife Fund Dedicated to protecting the world's wildlife and wildlands. From working to save the giant panda, tiger and rhino to helping establish and manage parks and reserves worldwide, this organization has been a leader for more than 36 years.
- Recycled Rotts Some Humans don't much like Rottweilers, but this organization works to save these dogs from being abused. Remember, it's not us that makes us bad....it's our Humans.
- American Animal Hospital This is an organization of more than 17,000 veterinary care providers throughout the U.S. Great site for you and your Human to learn how to choose the right vet and how to make sure your Human takes care of your health.
- Animal Protection Institute Based in Sacramento, California, this organization strives to inform, educate and advocate the humane treatment of all our animal friends.
- Adopt-A-Pet This is an online directory of animals shelters and humane societies throughout the U.S.

WORK&FUN---FUN & GAMES
- Working Dog Web This is a very comprehensive and informative site. Easy to get around and fun to be at. You'll find information on workings dogs, plus tons of links to other great animal sites including free stuff your Human can order for you.
- Dog Play: Fun with Your Dog Great site to visit and discover new games for you and your Human to play. Tons of great links too!
- Dog Friendly I don't know about you, but I get pretty ticked off when my Humans go way on a trip and don't take me along. Here is a source for you to ensure that the next trip includes you. This site lists hotels, parks, beaches, events, attractions and outdoor restaurants in California that allow and accept dogs traveling with their Humans. Put this in their favorite links box and maybe you'll get a trip to the sunny west coast after all.
- HamsterDance All I can say is go check out this site. If I was a cat, I'd be in heaven.
- PlanetPets Lots of great information about all kinds of pets from pot-bellied pigs to goats.
- Kid's DomainThis is where I adopted my Rainforest butterfly, Angel. You can adopt cyberpets here, too! Lots of cool links and stuff to do!

GREAT READS
- Tails of Woe Funny, funny, funny. Well, not all funny, there are some sad and scary stories too. Stories of dogs and their Humans in various true predicaments.
- The National Enquirer Now, I know. You Humans are probably rolling your eyes, but us dogs and I'm sure the cats too, like celebrity gossip as much as the next person. So please, give us a break! Dog's gotta have fun too!
- The Daily Southtown This is my local newspaper. It's a great read to find out what's going on in the area. Although we don't get it delivered, my Human does pick up the Sunday edition. And besides, since I have nothing but free time, I can afford to find out what's going on down the street.
- Fate Magazine Hey! I do check my horoscopes, you know. And although this magazine doesn't offer horoscopes, it does offer a great read on the paranormal. Not too long ago there was an article on voodoo. It was good, but not detailed enough. I had thought I could cast a spell on that mangy mutt Rusty next door. Ahhh, well.
- Dog World Magazine See, I do read industry publications. This is a great magazine that informs Humans about training, nutrition and behavior for their canine companions.
- Absolutely Wild Magazine This is a new, free monthly Internet magazine. It features news and articles abou the natural world.
- Goosebumps Homepage for my favorite books: the Goosebumps series. Lots of interesting stuff.

- The Vanished Index This index is a great place for all you historical buffs. I've set the site to go to Illinois but you can find history on virtually any state here. I like it for its Chicago historical information. It offers links to historical societies. So feed your brain and visit it today.
