(How to spot a Canuck in the Crowd)

Although it may seem very difficult to meet other Canadians, with a little investigative work it actually becomes very easy and here we have done some of it for you.  The first place to start is through the Canadian Consulate for your area.  A number of the Consulates have clubs that are loosely associated with them and can help you get in touch with them.  For a comprehensive consulate listing, please see "Government Resources" (check their web page first before you call or visit them, you can usually find listings of the clubs with a little digging.  A lot of them are listed below).  Check with your university or college alumni offices.  Most have chapters throughout North America and can help you get in touch with other members.  We will begin listing alumni offices shortly.  The internet is an excellent place to start (it brought you here, didn't it?).  Below you will see clubs and web sites that I have come across while surfing the 'Net.  If you belong to a professional association, check with them to see if they can help you get in touch with any fellow Canadian members or or advertise in their news letters.  Watch the newspaper events listings for Canadian bands playing at local pubs.  This often tends to bring out loyal Canucks in droves and pub atmospheres tend to lend to easier socializing.  And always keep your eye out for Canadian bumper stickers, flags and patches.

Check out our forum and talk with other Canadians about life in the U.S.

If you know of any other clubs or associations which should be listed here, even if they do not have a web site, please let me know.  We want to do everything possible to allow Canadians to come together.
