~STILLNESS
OF THE NIGHT~
Night gently
falls....silence abounds
It's in the
stillness of the night...
that my true
heart gives sound....
To the
anquish in my heart,
and for the
tears no time to shed,
Until
night gently falls...
and I can
put the day to bed.
Now
is when I can share...
with deep
heartfelt emotion,
With
other's, who have walked this path today.
Who
have shared with me,
their own
grief and sorrow,
And
their own angel stories along the way.
In the stillness
of the night...
moon glowing
above
These
greiving parents,
give to me
their time...
but
most of all....
their unconditional
love.
We wipe each
other's tears,
we share a
laugh or two...
And give each
other strength....
to see, yet
another day through.
These
angels of the night...
with whom
I speak with such delight...
Reach
out and take my hand...
and put all
my fears to flight.
With each card and letter...
their love
to me they send..
So I can face
tomorrow...
and we can
gather once again.
In the
stillness of the night....
and with all
my emotion,
I give
to each of them...
my utmost
love and devotion.
Please God..
grant them
all, serenity...peace...and love.
Place
all of their sorrows......
upon the wings
of a dove.
Fly, fly away,
anguish and sorrow
Place
with them instead....
precious memories
of their angels....
And give to
them the grace.....to greet tomorrow.
