The Biers is a bar in the Shades, a district in Ankh-Morpork that will serve just about anyone and where one can just fade into the shadows and not be noticed.
Igor is the barman. He has interesting ideas when it comes to drinks so it pays to order things transparent. Examples of clients are Angua the werewolf (Member of the City Watch), Susan Sto Helit (DEATH's granddaughter), toothfairies, vampires, bogeymen, zombies, etc. Probably the notorious Mrs. Cake as well.
This place makes an interesting plot device. Since our game has a tourist, she "accidentally" wandered into the Shades one evening. Luckily she is still alive.
