If you've read any of The Chronicles, you probably known quite a bit about Ankh-Morpork already. It is home of Unseen University, that Famous Smell, Hide Park (the only really safe place), the Dysk Theatre, the Ankh-Morpork Opera, the Palace (home of The Patrician), The Assassins' School (the best on the Disc), the Shades (see the Biers), the Ankh-Morpork City Watch, various Guilds, a few wandering shops, the Mended Drum, and a river one can sit on (for awhile). This city is rife with opportunities for adventure.
