December -- Majesco releases Frogger, the 16-bit version of the original arcade hit. This is most likely the last new Super NES game to be released, so there will be no Future Release list from now on.

November -- Nintendo re-releases Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble, the third game in the Donkey Kong Country trilogy. Kiddie Kong is introduced in this mega-hit game. This is also Rare's last Super NES game.
