Yessss, I knowww, I didn't update like I said I would. Wonderfully enough, my computer's CD ROM is broken, so even though I finally found the CD to reinstall my scanner, there's no way of getting the CD to read. What this means for the site is ridiculous delays in any scanning. I only have like one drawing to scan anyway--I haven't had time do draw in forever. I've been working on a portrait of my boyfriend's parents, and that's taken up all of my drawing time.
Some local band emailed me about doing a drawing of them--I think I'm gonna give it a go. That would be cool to get a thing going where I can draw bands. I don't know though, 'cause I'm a veryyyy slow drawer--in that, I procrastinate, and I'm not so good with people, so it always takes longer. Plus, there's always a million other people better and faster than drawing than me, who'll just blow me out of the water. But, oh well. WEBSITE WEBSITE WEBSITE

Some guy sure did think this was a website about the Civil War, then emailed me and told me I was horribly disrespectful, hahaha. Does Geoff look Victorian to you? Hmm, maybe . . . no, not at all.

Some dude who goes to my college saw this site and has reeeeeeeeeeeinspired me to do things to it. I'll fiddle around with my scanner tonight.

I've had a lot of stuff done, but I'm having scanner problems. So, no update until I can find my installation CD.

For those of you who do check back, I will no longer be posting website updates on the Thursday messageboard. Thursday is famous enough, now, that the board is nothing but cliques of 15 year old idiot girls. That, and assholes. I just can't stand to look at the thing anymore. Man, that happens with all of my bands' messageboards. Why do I even bother? :o Good day, sir.

Monster update. I added two new sections to the art. Notebook and Other. Notebook is just stuff I do in class that I don't really elaborate on enough to make into final pieces. And, I just go by memory or ideas, instead of studying photographs. Other just shows some of my other stuff that you might be interested in, including a drawing of Taking Back Sunday, which I am really pleased with (and finished a year ago).

Also! I drove up to the Pittston show, despite my inability to find a ticket. It was a 5 hour drive, and of course, the show was sold out. I went to Thrice, and Eddie said he'd see what he could do to get me in. I went to Coheed, and the manager put me on the guestlist. Then, Eddie gave me a pile of free tickets. I got in the absolute front, and Thursday was beautiful--although there was a runway for the bouncers between the band and the audience. :(

I just wanted to address a suggestion that someone posted in my journal:
"why dont you try drawing stuff that inspired by there music rather than litterally drawing thurswday, there not exactly the most exciting things to look at really....are they?"
Hahaha, is any figure drawing really "exiting" to look at? It depends on the audience. But, as for the suggestion--I have SERIOUSLY been considering do that for a while now, and have even started a sketch. I have LOTS of ideas for this site actually--it all depends on the time I have to devote to those ideas. But yeah, definitely look out for that at some point.

The 09/28 Richmond show was awesome. By far the most dangerous crowd I've ever been in, though--the stage wasn't made to contend with that type of show. I MET GEOFF. That rocked. I talked to Tom, but not really a meeting--he was messing with cords in front of me, and told us that he was worried about us (the crowd was really too rough for the set up of the stage), and to be careful, haha. But, yeah, I met Geoff. I broke down in tears, 'cause I'm an idiot. Nah, their music has just been there for some really hard times in my life--and they played a bunch of old stuff, and it was just a culmination of all the emotion of the past year. He hugged me for a long while, trying to consol me--but I just felt dumb for crying in front of him. O well. He rules.

Welp, in order to reduce the ugliness that Angelfire has imposed on my site, I've switched from frames to tables. It still retains the basic look, I suppose. I can disable the popups with a script, but I can't get rid of that ugly banner at the bottom.

Angelfire has butchered my site: any suggestions for a new host?

Does anybody still come here? :( I haven't posted a new drawing since January. That's mostly because I was working on some non-Thursday stuff. Now that I'm back in the College deal, expect some new stuff this semester. Now that Thursday is active again, new stuff to inspire me. :) I'm planning on making TWO shows this season--that's a big deal to someone in Southern VA, BELIEVE me. Damn all you NJ and NY'ers. >< Check back in a couple of weeks--I've started some sketches that a few hour long lectures will give me time to occupy myself finishing. Make sense? O well--just check back.
Oh yeah--Thursday was calling for some fan art, and I submitted some stuff. I never heard back from them, though.

I added color versions of all of my art. I get bored, and its fun to color on the computer. :) I also added a couple of sketches of two of the drawings. A Geoff drawing that I've mentioned has been hanging around. I can't find the picture I drew it from, so I can't finish it until I find it. I started a drawing of Tom, I'm liking it, it should be up soon.

Long time, no update. I just posted another drawing of Geoff. Another drawing of him is nearly done, and might be posted tomorrow. I've been commissioned to do a Taking Back Sunday drawing, and I've been really interested in doing some Engine Down fan art. So that will probably side track me. I'm still wanting to do some more Tom art, but I really haven't come across many good pictures.

I finished a Geoff drawing. Thanksgiving break is coming up, and I'm ahead on my homework, so I'm sure this site will see some major additions by the end of the month. Stay tuned, kiddos.

TOM DRAWING IS FINALLY DONE. Yeesh, I had a lot of trouble with it. Also, I started another drawing of Geoff, which is pretty generic, so it will probably be up soon. I'm wanting to draw Tom again, but he's difficult for me to draw for some reason, and there's a definite dearth in good, drawable, photos of him.

Woo! I posted this site on the Official Thursday message board last night, and I got a great response. Thanks guys! Also, Andrew of Thursday-Online.com has commissioned me to draw a picture of Tom for his site. I about fell out the chair, cause I LOVE his site. I go there every day, cause I'm a dork and all. :D I'm excited to draw Tom for the first time.
