The Num Nutz Band

It is not fiction...

I'm sure you've heard by now that there is a band called "The Num Nutz Band". For some reason since 1995 no one can seem to forget how it was. So now here you are, at the official Num Nutz web page. The rumors are true, yes the band is going to do something real cool soon. I must admit, when the guys start talking all sorts of ideas start pending. New T-Shirts and all kinds of other "CUTE" Num Nutz stuff will soon be avalable right here! The Second Edition EP "engurdi noix" re-issue will also be available soon, and previously unavailable Num Nutz recodings will be available on Purple Shed Records too. Look out for a reunion in the summer of 2003.

What are the guys doing now?

As you may know the band split up in Aug. of 1998, and the guys went seperate ways and did numerous projects until they re-grouped in 1999, for the Bushwhacker Days festival. Each member has his own tale of thier carreers after the Num Nutz. Now Ryan is playing with Eric Lane Gulliford's Band, Jason has been in and out of bands in the Springfield, and Pittsburg areas continuing as a vocalist. Brian played for 13 Curves for awile until he moved to Joplin to become an audio tech. Matt & Doug played for a while in a band called Punkture untill the Num Nutz re-grouped in 1999, shortly after that Matt went to start a project band called Vessels of Light, which ended up as his first solo CD recording titled "The First Seven: All In Good Time". Doug went on and tried to do something a bir different and played a stint with One Lung as the drummer just before he moved to Springfield. He then fired up his third studio recording session to later be known as the single two song disk called "What You get" and the band was called "Mr. E. Machine", and you will hear more about them later for sure. He then chased a solo carreer to later become known as "Dangerous" Dougie as he now playes solo and with "dB". To catch up on all the details check out the history section link above. The guys do stay in touch and have plans on a reunion tour in the near future.
