The angel of God declared unto Mary:
R. And she conceived of the Holy Spirit.
Hail Mary ...
“Behold: the Handmaid of the Lord

Hail, Mary ...
The Word was made flesh,

Hail, Mary ...
Pray for us, O holy Mother of God,
R. that we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.

Let us pray.

Pour forth we beseech thee, O Lord, your grace into our heart, that we to whom the incarnation of Christ you Son, was made known by the message of an angel, may, by His passion and cross, be brought to the glory of His resurrection. Through the same Christ our Lord. R. Amen.

THE REGINA CAELI

Queen of heaven, rejoice, alleluia.
For He whom you deserved to bear, Alleluia.
Has risen as He said. Alleluia.
Pray for us to God. Alleluia.

R. For the Lord is truly risen. Alleluia.

Let us pray.

O God, Who by the resurrection of Your Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, vouchsafed to give joy to the whole world, grant, we beseech You, that, through the intercession of the Virgin Mary, His Mother, we may attain the joys of eternal life. Through the same Christ our Lord.

R. Amen

 HAIL, HOLY QUEEN (SALVE REGINA)

Hail, holy Queen, Mother of Mercy, hail, our life, our sweetness and our hope. To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve; to thee do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this valley of tears. Turn, then, most gracious advocate, thine eyes of mercy towards us; and after this our exile, show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb Jesus. 0 clement, 0 loving, 0 sweet Virgin Mary. Amen.

SUB TUUM

We fly to your protection, 0 Holy Mother of God. Do not despise our prayers, but graciously hear and answer them. 0 ever glorious and blessed Virgin.

THE MEMORARE

Remember, O most loving Virgin Mary, that never was it known in any age, that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession was abandoned. Inspired with confidence, therefore, we fly to you, O Virgin of virgins, our Mother. To you do we come, before you we stand, sinful and sorrowful. Do not, O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise our prayers, but graciously hear and grant them. Amen.

PRAYER TO SAINT MICHAEL

St. Michael, the archangel, defend us in the hour of battle. Be our safeguard against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him we humbly pray, and do thou, O prince of the heavenly host, by the power of God, thrust into hell Satan and all the evil spirits who roam through the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.
