He was born on July 20, 1949 at Providence, RI. His father was Kenneth Clark Murch Sr. and his mother is Doris Elizabeth (Hamilton) Murch. He graduated from Norwalk Community College in 1969 with an AS Degree in Marketing. He graduated in 1971 from Central Connecticut State University with a BS Degree in Business Admistration. He has held positions in his life such as Marketing Account Manager, Materials Manager, Production Control Manager, Purchasing Commodities Manager, Supplier Quality Engineer, and Senior Buyer. He currently works in Automotive Manufactering. He married Cathleen Mary Wild on June 10, 1972. They have two children:
