Seatrout fishing in Saltwater
Seatrout fishing in saltwater has got its own charme.
In Denmark we have a lot of beatifull beaches that are great for seatrout fishing.
Places where you can enjoy just being there even when you don't catch anything.
A lot of the places I use to spend a few hours from time to time are places where I have the
forest right behind me. I love that combination, the water and the trees.
The birds in the sky and the live inside the water are so rich in the good fishing spots that you
don't really need to catch fish, but of course when you do is perfect.
If you look at the coasts of Denmark, you will see that there is many islands and a lot of the
fishing places you will be seen land at the other side. This happens in fjords, bays and inlets
wich all are perfect habitats for the seatrout.
Depending on the season you will have to use different sorts of baits. But the fly is allways a sure
one. When the water is cold, try fishing deeper and with bigger flies and when the water gets warmer
use small flies and fish them higher or in the surface. If you are spinning, use small spoons, 12-15
grams are OK all the year and again fish them slowly just over the bottom when it's cold and higher when it's warmer.
