"OK, here we are," Nick said after opening the car door for Laura. Extending his hand, she took it as she got out of his car. A valet had approached and closed the car door, and Nick handed him the keys. Placing his hand on Laura's back as they walked inside, Laura unconsciously shivered at his touch. Once again feeling butterflies in her stomach, she hoped they would be seated rather fast. Walking up to the hostess, he stood up proudly as he told her, "Carter, for two." Laura stifled a giggle as the hostess acknowledged him and asked them to follow her, Nick letting Laura go first.

Reaching a table that was a bit secluded from the rest, the hostess motioned with her hand that this was their table. Nick pulled out a chair for Laura, and she sat down, then Nick sat down himself. As the hostess walked away, a waiter approached, bringing champagne. As he poured them each a glass, Laura looked around, seeing that there was a small dance floor with four or five couples dancing. The romantic atmosphere brought a smile to her face as she turned back to look at Nick, who was looking at her, smiling. "Oh, Nick," she said, once again looking around quickly and back to him. "Nick, this place is beautiful."

"I'm glad you like it," Nick said, relieved. "I didn't know what you wanted to do, or where to take you, what you would like."

"Anywhere you would have brought me would have been fine, Nick, really. But I love it, it's so romantic," she said winking at him, a sexy smirk on her face.

Nick felt his blood pulse through him as he looked at Laura, breathing in deep as he began to speak again. "Um, yeah, romantic," he echoed numbly, mesmerized by her smile. "And when we're done with dinner, we can stay and dance for a bit, if you'd like."

Is he kidding, if I'd like!? Laura thought as she smiled at Nick. "Of course, Nick," she replied as the waiter returned.

Nick put down his napkin as he watched Laura. She was looking out at the dance floor again, for about the hundredth time since they arrived. He pushed his chair out and stood up, causing Laura to look his way. She watched him approach with his hand extended.

"Care to dance, beautiful?" Nick asked, an intense serious look on his face.

Laura felt herself get hot under his stare, but managed to smile at him, letting out a nervous giggle. "I'd love to, Nickolas," she said, taking his hand and standing up, letting him lead her to the dance floor. The current song was just ending and the next song started. It was Lady In Red, a song that was from the 1980s and one of Laura's favorites. When they reached the middle of the dance floor, Nick opened his arms, and Laura sunk into them, smiling at him as they looked into each other's eyes. He smiled back warmly, kissing her forehead as they swayed to the music. She laid her head on his chest, and she could hear his heart beating. Letting out a sigh, she began to hear Nick singing to her as the words began.

"...Never seen you lookin' so lovely as you did tonight, I've never seen you shine so bright..."

Continuing to listen to Nick's heart, she heard him draw in a deep breath before singing the next line.

"...I've never seen so many men ask you if you wanted to dance, lookin' for a little romance, if given half the chance..."

Laura wrapped her arms around Nick tighter as he continued to sing with the song.

"...And I've never seen that dress you're wearin', or the highlights in your hair that catch your eyes... I have been blind..."

Rubbing his hands gently over Laura's back, Nick sang to her more.

"...The lady in red is dancing with me, cheek to cheek... there's nobody here, it's just you and me, It's where I wanna be..."

Laura hummed with Nick as he sang, smiling as she listened to his soft voice.

"...But I hardly know this beauty by my side... I'll never forget the way you look tonight..."

Reaching behind his back, Nick took one of Laura's hands, and twirled her around dramatically before pulling her back into his arms. He sang again as the next verse began.

"...I've never seen you lookin' so gorgeous as you did tonight, I've never seen you shine so bright... you were amazing..."

Just when Laura thought she and Nick couldn't get any closer, he puller her tighter to him as he now sang directly into her ear breathlessly.

"...I've never seen so many people want to be there by your side, and when you turned to me and smiled..."

Nick tilted Laura's head up with his hand, looking deep into her eyes.

"...It took my breath away..."

Laura felt as though she were floating on air, as her and Nick's bodies swayed together as one.

"...I have never had such a feeling, such a feeling of complete and utter love... as I do tonight..."

Laura watched Nick's mouth as he sang to her, his tongue licking his lips to slightly wet them. She suddenly felt very warm and tingly, glad that she was in Nick's arms, for she felt like he was holding her up completely. Maybe he was. Looking back up to Nick's eyes, they looked so soft and tender, and the color was almost a crystal blue. They were the most amazing color she had ever seen. He smiled at her as the song continued.

"...The lady in red is dancing with me, cheek to cheek... there's nobody here, it's just you and me, it's where I wanna be... But I hardly know this beauty by my side..."

Nick and Laura stopped swaying, satisfied just being in each other's arms, looking into each other's eyes intensely, barely even blinking.

"...I'll never forget the way you look tonight... I never will forget the way you look tonight..."

Nick lowered his head, brushing his lips against Laura's softly. Laura parted her lips, relaxing them as he kissed her, his arms tightening around her, causing her knees to go weak. She unconsciously lifted her feet off the ground, and Nick was holding her in his arms completely as he continued to kiss her. Realizing that a new song had begun, their kiss broke slowly, their eyes once again meeting as Laura lowered her feet back to the floor. Lost in each other's gaze, Laura was the first one to break the silence.

"Nick, take me home, please," she said, not averting her stare in the least.

Nick's look turned to confused. "You want to go home?" he asked disappointed. "But the night's just begun, and--"

"Oh I know it's early," Laura interrupted, smiling shyly. "And the night has just begun. That's why I want you to take me home," she said, her hand sliding down his back to his butt, casually circling around it before bringing it back up Nick's side and around to his chest, softly caressing him with her other hand, still on his back. Laura winked at him, and he finally understood what she was hinting at. Blushing, Nick took her hand and they went to their table so Laura could get her purse. Nick and Laura were soon on their way back to Laura's place, the night still young...

Having excused herself as soon as they walked in the door, Nick waited for Laura in her living room. He smiled as he noticed the flowers he brought for her in a vase in the center of the coffee table. Nick made himself comfortable, taking off his jacket and draping it over the back of the couch before sitting down. Putting his hands in back of his head, he slouched back into Laura's couch, closing his eyes as he did so. It was only moments before he heard her voice. "Nick?" she said quietly, and he opened his eyes.

Nick's eyes fell upon Laura standing before him, wearing a sheer white robe, with a white silk negligee underneath. Her hair was down, falling over her shoulders, reaching almost all the way down to her waist. She smiled seductively at Nick as he sat up quickly, his eyes lingering on every inch of her body as she stood before him. She watched as he stood up, walking up to her. Nick raised his arm slowly, his hand caressing her hair softly. As his hand came down, it caught Laura's hand, and he pulled her closer. Both her and Nick's breathing became erratic as he cupped her face in his hands, leaning down to kiss her, her arms wrapping around his shoulders. The kisses started soft and delicate as Laura's hands moved from around Nick's shoulders, brushing softly over his chest and down to his stomach, tugging his shirt out from his pants. Her hands slid under his shirt as their kisses became more vigorous, more passionate. Pulling her hands out, Laura unbuttoned Nick's shirt, gently kissing down his chest and stomach as more and more was revealed by each button undone. Nick moaned as she unbuttoned the last button, leaving one last kiss above his waist before moving herself back up to his neck, sticking her tongue out slightly and trailing it all the way up, tasting his warm salty skin. Reaching his neck, Laura sucked and kissed it, making her way up to his ear. She felt his body shiver as she took his earlobe into her mouth, sucking on it as she flicked it with her tongue, making Nick let out a low growl. Releasing his earlobe, she kissed him from his ear back to his lips one last time before breaking away. She smiled innocently as one of her hands slid from his waist down to the very evident bulge growing in his pants.

"Hmmmm," Laura muttered, looking into Nick's eyes as she caressed his hardness through his pants, his breathing becoming more shallow and his pupils dilating. His eyes rolled back as he closed them, letting out another guttural moan, enjoying the sensations she was giving him. Laura let out a sexy laugh as she backed away from Nick, breaking all contact with him as she slowly began walking down the hallway, turning to look at him over her shoulder briefly as she walked down to her room. She opened the door, and turned as she stood in the doorway, now seeing Nick approaching close behind. Giving him a come-hither stare, Laura backed into her room and Nick followed, closing the door behind him.
