2.0 INSERTING PICTURES

Inserting Clipart
The document would not be complete without a picture to improve the visual image. Drawing a picture is time consuming, so you are offered a selection of already drawn pictures (called clipart) to choose from.

Step 2.1 Position the insertion point before the main title at the very beginning of the document.

Step 2.2 From the Insert Menu choose Picture, Clipart .

Step 2.3 The clipart category gallery is displayed. Double clip the Academic category.

Step 2.4 Click on a picture from those shown. An additional insert menu will be displayed. Click the Insert button to insert the clip into the document.

Step 2.5 Close the Clipart catalog window. When the clipart is inserted, the picture generally comes out too large on your document.

Step 2.5 Click on the clipart, and then drag one of the corner buttons into the middle, this will reduce the size of the picture.
