LANGDON, James Byron (Reverend)-----I have no dates for birth or death. It is believed that he came from England, but no proof has come about yet. He married a JOANNA BADGLEY . We also have no information on her.
***Reverend James Byron LANGDON's second wife was MARY ANDERSON . They married on September 22, 1863 in Edinborough, Erie County, Pennsylvania. She died on November 2, 1883 in Ashtabula, Ohio. CHILDREN OF REVERAND JAMES LANGDON AND JOANNA BADGLEY: 1. LANGDON, John Robert---Born in about 1814. He married PHEOBE YATES FIELDS on May 30, 1847. Pheobe YATES was born June 26, 1826 and died on December 11, 1894 and was buried in Tubbs Cemetary, Titusville, Pennsylvania. John LANGDON died in Northumberland County, Mt. Carmel, Pennsylvania. They had seven known children. 2. LANGDON, Ambrose Spencer---No information on. 3. LANGDON, William Lacey---No information. 4. LANGDON, Daniel Miller---No information. 5. LANGDON, Sarah Ann---No information. 6. LANGDON, Philander---No information. 7. LANGDON, James Russell---No information. 8. LANGDON, Caroline Genette---Born in 1827 in Ontario, New York. She married GEORGE LAWRENCE on May 21, 1846 in Lorain, Ohio. I have no death date or information of children for Caroline. 9. LANGDON, Harlow Carlton---Born on July 11, 1830 in New York. He married MARY E. PETTIT on May 24, 1849. Mary was born on May 24, 1830 in Crawford County, Pennsylvania and died on October 3, 1895. Harlow Carlton died on December 13, 1852 in Crawford County, Pennsylvania. They had two known children.

FACTS: 2. LANGDON, Phildelphia---Born on December 29, 1849. She married JOHN ROBERTS. I do not know if they had children, but have seen references made about this sister of Philancia's in letters written by Philancia and am assuming that they two remained close. Phildelphia died on February 26, 1938 in Titusville, Pennsylvania. 3. LANGDON, Jonah---Born on April 4, 1852. Married WILLIAM R. MILLER in 1870. She died in 1924 in Frewburg, New York. 4. LANGDON, Susan Elizabeth---Born on March 6, 1855. She married MARVIN TUBBS on December 26, 1875 in Enterprise, Warren County, Pennsylvania. She died on June 28, 1927 in Titusville, Pennsylvania. 5. LANGDON, Robert---Born on October 1, 1858 and died on November 20, 1906. 6. LANGDON, John Heeman---Born March 13, 1860. He married MARTILLA S. CARR on December 26, 1883. John died on March 21, 1942 in Titusville, Pennsylvania. 7. LANGDON, Joseph M. Sayers---Born January 21, 1863 and died on February 24, 1935 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. HARLOW CARLTON LANGDON AND MARY E. PETTIT HAD THE FOLLOWING TWO CHILDREN: 1. One daughter (name unknown) that married A. A. DAVIS 2. She was born August 22, 1849 in Tioga County, New York and died on October 23, 1929 in Faribault, Minnesota. They had one known child: LANGDON, Frederick White--Born on June 20, 1876 in Freeborn County, Minnesota. He married GLENNIE M. DOLTON on March 10, 1903. Glennie Dolton was born November 25, 1882 in Freeborn County, Minnesota and died on September 13, 1969 in Bemidji, Minnesota. Frederick LANGDON died on November 28, 1942 in Bemidji, Minnesota. They had one child known to me.
