Logs are not a summary, but rather looks like you spent two minutes on the RPG that took others a month or the entire three months to work on.  And as always, if you have a problem, there are those in Command who can help you out.  These are my opinions, though more so they are thoughts to keep in mind when thinking about this.  One report can hold up not only your sector or division, but can hold up everything in the machine that makes us the KSF


Trekkie impatience grows. Plaintive cries of "When is it coming out???", "Why do Trek games suck?", and "Will there be a Seven of Nine self-gratification code?" proliferate.

Release date is pushed back for the first time.

Trekkies ask "Is game in trouble?" and "Will it be cancelled like Vulcan Fury?"  Trekkie backlash begins. The "Voyager Sucks!" and "Voyager Rules!" factions divide Trek message boards.

Release date is pushed back for the second time. PC Accelerator mentions game in a vaporware retrospective.

Trekkies forget about game and go on with their lives (or a reasonable fascimile).

Game released - Huzzah! Player receives mission briefings from actor who plays Tuvok in cut scenes. In-game story plays out with never-before-seen characters and an occasional Voyager cast member. Scenes with Seven of Nine in slinky outfits are rare although she will appear in most screenshots and on the box cover. Amazingly, your character will somehow save the ship and crew while remaining the only security officer (besides Tuvok) not killed horribly.

Trekkies and those hoping to see Seven of Nine in slinky outfits buy game.  First

Will The Star Trek/Bad Game Formula Continue?

Activision and Raven Software have announced that a game based on Star Trek: Voyager is currently in the works. The first-person 3D shooter will put the player in the role of a security officer fighting alongside the famous crew.

We checked the PCXL crystal ball to see how this project will play itself out:

Trekkies see announcement of game and begin quivering with anticipation.

Game is shown at E3. Game engine is announced. Fact that entire cast has recorded voice samples is revealed. The guy who plays Neelix shows up at Activision booth to promote game. Screenshots canvass the Web. Trekkies discuss every nuance of game on IRC and newsgroups.
