Notes
In the census of 1808, he was listed as living at Rosenort #10.
The census says he came originally from Petershagen, Prussia, but another
entry (Unruh, p. 337) says he came from Reinland, Prussia. He is described as
a "poor laborer." In the 1835 census, he is listed at Rosenort #11, and is
said to have come to the Molotschna in 1804.
