In the census of 1808, he is listed as living at Fischau #20.
I wonder if he was married twice, with both wives being named Maria. In any
event, he is stated to have had step-children, with daughter Maria so called,
and son David also likely a stepson. He was from Krebsfeld, Prussia. The
1835 census, however, lists him at Fischau #16, and indicates that son David's
father was a "Daniel", likely this Daniel! More information is needed to
deal with the "step-children" comment!

(A-354A) He lived in the village of Konopat, Poland. His first marriage is
problematic. The Alexanderwohl records give her number as his first wife, and
his child Ancke's entry lists them as her parents. However, Trincke Wedels'
own entry lists only her marriage to Tobias Wedel, and the dates of his other
marriages conflict. Could there be an error in the record? Or, could the
daughter Ancke have been born out of wedlock to this couple? More research is
needed!
