Friday September 5

Boyle County  31    Henry Clay  7
Boyle County's defense held Henry Clay's offense to 116 yards of offense tonight.    For a complete write-up of this game, click [here].

Lexington Catholic  16    Scott County  10
Lexington Catholic's defense held on in the final seconds to ensure the victory.   For a complete write-up of this game, click [here].

Lafayette  7    Franklin County  0
Lafayette held the high octane Flyer offense to 87 yards on a rainy evening.

Bryan Station  47    Western  8
RB Patrick Cornett ran for 166 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Defenders to victory.

Lexington Christian  50    Christian Adademy of Louisville  26
LCA utilized the 1-2 punch of Domonique Hayden and Lucas Witt to defeat CAL.  Hayden carried the ball 20 times for 161 yards and two TDs.  Hayden also caught three passes for 91 yards and a TD.  Witt completed 13 of 25 passes for 253 yards and four touchdowns.

Ryan Williams carried the ball 17 times for 229 yards and scored on runs of 90 and 64 yards to lead the Cardinals to victory. 

Danville  26    Southwestern  7
The Admirals ground game was led by Antwoine Simon with 183 yards and two touchdowns. 

Middlesboro  27    Paul Dunbar  0
Hunter Adams led Middlesboro with 119 yards on 11 carries including a 67 yard TD run.  Cody Foister also went over the 100 yard mark with 110 yards on five carries including a 74 yard TD run. 

Clay County  62    Leslie County  8
QB Zach Lewis completed 16 of 21 passes for 272 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Tigers to victory. 

Boone County  28    Mason County  18
RB Charles Quainoo led Boone County with 330 yards and three touchdowns on 44 carries. 

Frankfort  25    Spencer County  7
Quan Weaver carried the ball 16 times for 232 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Panthers. 

Madison Central  57    Madison Southern  0
Keshawn Simpson led Madison Central with 111 yards and four touchdowns on eight carries.

Woodford County  49    Bardstown  34  (Governor's Bowl)
Woodford County let 35-7 at halftime and survived a fourth quarter rally by Bardstown . Steven Duckworth threw for 115 yards and three TDs for the victors before sitting out the second half with a sore ankle.
