QFS Level I SOCCER RESULTS

6 Week Time Period

*Size Increase

  1. 1 inch in calves (Both Legs)
  2. 3 inches in thighs (Both Legs)
  3. Gained 3 lb.

*Strength Increase

  1. 80 lb. increase in all 4 exercises on multi-hip machine
  2. 90 lb. increase on leg curl machine
  3. 70 lb. increase in calve raises

*Speed Increase

  1. .45 of a second decrease in 40 yd. dash time
  2. .80 of a second decrease in 20yd. dash time
  3. .15 of a second decrease in 10 yd. dash time

*Foot Speed Increase

  1. Look at Plyometric Pre-Test compared to the Post-Test (averaged 6 extra touches per exercise)

*Vertical Leap and Broad Jump Increase

  1. 3 inches increase in vertical leap
  2. 6 inches increase in broad jump
*Flexibility Increase
  1. 14* increase in hamstring flexibility
  2. 5* increase in quadricep flexibility
  3. 1 1/4 inch increase in hip flexor flexibility
  4. I.T. Band flexibility from very tight to good

*Soccer Skill Increase

  1. Went from 17 to 48 juggles in left foot only
  2. Went from 11 to 18 juggles in head only
  3. Went from 23 to 41 juggles in right to left combination
  4. Went from 47 to 71 regular juggles (even in regular juggling, weak foot must touch the ball every 4th touch)
