Mary's List
a list of reasons why I, sara, am weird.
compiled by mary
- Sound #1
- Sound #2
- Sound #3
- Sound #4 Neither mary nor I can remember these sounds, ones that I made during freshman gym class, with an awesome gym teacher.
- Laugh #1
- Laugh #2 Like the sounds, we can't remember the specific laughs. However, I have quite a repretoire of having incredibly (amusing?) strange laughs. but I'm not the only one, Jasmine. *ahem*
- Really, really freaky laugh. as I said above...
- The way she says fish.
- The way she says moose.
- Joy to the fish-ees in the deep blue sea! also in freshman gym, someone brought in a boombox to listen to when playing volleyball. they brought that "jerimiah" song, and I loved to sing along with that one song. heehee.
- Her basketball scream one day (also in freshman gym, noticing a pattern?) I got really annoyed with a certain classmate (who shall remain nameless) who was blocking me in basketball. so I had the ball and he came up to me and was right there so I kinda did a scream/shout/strangled noise. it worked tho. he moved back. heehee.
- Hypnotized moose. before school freshman year, we'd meet in a certain classroom and sometimes draw moose on the board. I drew a hypnotized moose once and she found it absurdly amusing.
- Freaky moose. same as above, only this one wasn't hypnotized. this one was freaky.
- Daggers
- Daggers and bullets this, and the above, are our methods for killing/harming those we despise. daggers and bullets, daggers and bullets...makes a lovely chant.
- Brownies if you want to know this one, watch Empire Records, a majorly cool movie. pay special attention to Mark and the brownies.
- Quarters same as above, Empire Records-related, when A.J. was glueing quarters to the floor. we were going to glue some to the floor of our history teacher's room last year for April Fools.
- Violence so I can be a little violent at times... okay, so meg and I can get rather violent at times...but it's all in fun.
- Do I really want to be alone with her? laugh. hey! but actually, good question.. heh heh heh...
- The way she talks about scaring Meg. hey, it's fun..and it's not like it was me that jumped off my bed & tried to hide under it when my mom knocked on my window at night. That was Meg & Karen. And I wasn't in on it, either.
- Spinning spinning around and around and around is fun. like pissing Meg off by walking around her in circles.(a favorite pastime of mine.)
- Ballet-like serves okay, so when I play badminton and such, I have a funny way of serving. but I do it well. ah, how i love badminton...
- She’s left-handed! (Actually that’s her Mom’s opinion) being left handed isn't strange, it's being special!
- Fui it's the future of "to be" in spanish. (i believe. it's some form of "to be.") freshman year, we had gym right after spanish, and when we were learning this form, we were playing floor hockey. (another excellent sport.) so when we weren't playing, we'd sit on the mats. when one of the players would hit the puck so it flew down the entire length of the gym, we'd say "fuiiiiiii!" also fun to say at UW hockey games, eh Jasmine?
- Hablaba this didn't have a corresponding activity in floor hockey, but it's fun to say. try it. hablaba. really fast.. hablaba! (for non-spanish speakers, you don't pronounce the "h." so it's "ab-lab-ba")
- nooses for mooses This is a rather fun way to taunt Mary. Unfortunately, she's come up with a retort: "Fish kabobs." Sniff.
- radioactive iguana when I instant message Mary, Karen, or Jasmine (via aol's instant messager program - aim! - very nice) I sometimes change the color so the background's black and the type is lime green, and i'm a radioactive iguana at night.
- eek! for no reason heh. I'm not contesting that.
- smushing a violin I figure I'll get her to lose control *one* of these times...and mary, "smashing" is a much more powerful word.
- the "Habanera" da-dun-dun-DUN! so I like this classical music song.. I can sing along with it. but wait.. I thought that it was a different name. hmm. *ba DUM DUM DUM!*
- flirting with a silent witness hey, you were on the bus too, and we were both thowing "alluring looks" its way.
- "little bunny french fry" a song I sang one day whilst terribly bored in the lunchroom..."little bunny french fry, hopping thru the forest, picking up all the dead french fries and bopping them on the head. down came the straw-wrapper fairy and said 'little bunny french fry, there'll be no more bopping dead french fries on the head. you have two more chances'..."
- the ouija board is for real! sometimes it is, sometimes it is.
