Sc32: Mike, Matt and his parents are having dinner. Mr. Macray gets a message via walkie talkie.
GUARD: Sir, she is in position.
FATHER: Good work. Ah, will you all please excuse me, something came up.
Matt's father gets off his rubber donut thing and leaves
MATT: (whispers to Mike) Where's he going?
MIKE: Nowhere...
MATT: Has this got something to do with the Walshe's?
MIKE: (fake laugh) Why do you ask? I mean, why would he set up a Walshe and kill them. Why
would...oh wait...
MATT: Mother, may I be excused?
MIKE: (jumps up) No, don't let him!
MOTHER: Michael! You sit down and eat your dinner like a good boy. Matthew, yes you may be
excused.
MATT: Thank you mother.
Matt leaves the table. He runs out the back and sees his father slowly easing his ass into his
car. Matt jumps into his BMW and trails him.
Sc33: Both cars stop near China town. Matt sees Renee and Claire and her friends eating at a restaurant. He sees his father going into a building nearby. Up on the rooftop he sees another guard waiting with a gun. Matt quickly gets out of car and runs into the building.
Sc34: Matt creeps towards his father and his guard. The guard walks near Matt. Matt attacks him,
covering the guard's mouth.
MATT: (quietly) Don't worry. It's just me. I wanna surprise him. Go wait in the car.
GUARD: (quietly) Yes sir.
The guard goes back down the flight of stairs to wait in the car. Matt sneaks up on his father.
MATT: (loudly) Wagga wagga wagga!!!!!
FATHER: Aaaaarrrrggghhh!!!!! Oh, it's you! Don't do that! What are you doing here?
MATT: I wanted to help you.
FATHER: Ah, that's my boy. You're finally getting into this whole revenge business. Good, good. Now
you just stand over there and watch. You see, shooting someone and getting away with it is an
art. You gotta have stamina and a good getaway. No watch and learn.
Matt's father sets up the gun. His father slowly touches the trigger. He starts to pull it back.
Then Matt falls onto him when he shoots. A scream is heard below. Matt looks over. Claire is
dead.
FATHER: You imbecile! Come on you idiot!
His father grabs him and they both start running downstairs.
MATT: (innocently) At least we got someone?!
Sc35: Renee is sitting at dinner with her folks.
MOTHER: So, we kill their only son and they have the nerve to try to kill our only daughter.
RENEE: Maybe they meant to kill her.
FATHER: Now who would want to kill Claire. She was such a sweet little thing.
RENEE: Blah blah blah...I'll be up in my room.
Renee leaves the table and goes up to her room. Once she walks in some hands cover her
mouth and hold her.
MATT: Please don't scream.
Matt lets go of her. She looks at him stunned.
RENEE: You're alive? How can that be? My father never misses.
MATT: Well, sometimes he does. Are you okay?
ENEE: Of course I'm okay...was it your father last night?
MATT: And so what if it was?
RENEE: You stopped him from killing me didn't you?
MATT: (bashfully) Well...yeah...
RENEE: That's so sweet. No one's ever done that for me before. You saved me from your father and
Claire's rambling.
MATT: Well, you helped me so I helped you.
RENEE: So we're even.
Holds her hand out to shake his
MATT: Even.
He shakes her hand.
RENEE: So, have we gone...y'know...steady?
MATT: I dunno. If so, how 'bout we better that and get married!
RENEE: Are you insane?
MATT: Pretty much. So whaddaya say?
RENEE: But I'm already engaged.
MATT: So cancel it. Will you at least think about it?
RENEE: Whatever. But I'm not promising anything. Now get out of here before my dad finds out
you're still alive.
MATT: As you wish.
Matt leaves her room. Renee sits down on her bed. She lies down but something pokes her
head.
RENEE: Ow! What the...
She looks down and finds a beautiful diamond ring. She puts it on her middle finger and
smiles.
RENEE: (VO: Damn! He's actually getting to me!)
Sc36: Renee and Josh are riding their dirtbikes around. Renee is leading taking Josh anywhere she
wants. She stops when they reach a dusty uninhabited road. She gets off her bike and Josh
slows down.
JOSH: (excited) What are we doing? Huh? Huh? What are we doing? Where are we?
RENEE: (puts her finger on his mouth) Shhhhhhh. This is gonna be a night you'll never forget.
Josh looks at her wide eyed. She shuts his eyes and he lies down against a pole. He's grinning
like crazy. He is obviously very happy!
RENEE: Now just relax...
Renee takes out some handcuffs. Josh opens his eyes.
JOSH: Ooh, someone's being naughty...
Renee handcuffs him to the pole.
JOSH: Kinky.
Renee stands up
RENEE: I told you to close your eyes.
Josh closes his eyes again. He relaxes against the pole. Renee stands up and dismantles his
bike taking his motor. She takes out her cat and places it near Josh. The cat rubs against Josh.
JOSH: Ooh, you haven't shaved. I dig that.
Renee places the motor in her bag. She then takes his bike and slowly wheels it away. She then
goes to her bike and starts wheeling it away. A plane flies overhead and she starts riding her
bike away. Josh opens his eyes. He looks at the cat and screams. He looks at his bike and
screams. He looks at the handcuffs and screams again.
JOSH: Still playing hard to get...When will she just let nature take its course.
Renee's cat pees on him.
JOSH: Damn nature to hell.
