We are proud (and a little awed) to have the opportunity to help re-introduce the Ty Tracy Theatre (formerly NORD Theatre) to the world. This remarkable, intimate 100 seat venue is a hidden jewel in the treasure chest of the Crescent City. For decades it served as the home of the New Orleans Recreational Department (NORD) Children's Theatre. Fully restored and updated to offer state of the art equipment, luxurious dressing rooms, green room, laundry facilities and Director's office, the City of New Orleans has made The Ty Tracy Theatre accessible and affordable to all.
ONEPIECE will be the first full scale production to be performed in the newly renovated theatre. We will be dedicating one of our performances to the now-grown children who first experienced the magic of Theatre with the late Ty Tracy on this very stage.
