Alchemy DojangNewsletter March 2005 |
Well, we got off to a flying start with the Goodwill World Championships, in January, and here we are already well into February, and gearing up for things to get even hotter in March, so brace yourselves! Welcome back to our regular students and to the plenty, bright, new faces, especially in the kids classes. If this is of some concern to the older students - don't panic we will bring in extra help to make sure everyone continues to get personal attention and continues to grow and thrive at Alchemy. There are Combat Kids classes on Tuesday and Thursday at 4pm, as well as the competition class on Friday. BKSN Andrew and KSN Arthur will continue to assist, with the help of BKSN Aldi and others from time to time. |

The new booklets are out, so if you haven't received your 'Little Dragons' or 'Combat Kids' manual, please let me know. This is the first step in an ongoing process to improve the instruction and thereby improve your child's growth and understanding of not only the martial arts but life as well, personal development is our primary focus. We will be restarting the competition classes from March, these classes are for purple 2 and up who want to focus on improving in aspects like sparring, forms and weapons, especially in regards to competition. These will take place on Fridays from 4:30- 5:30pm. The year plan has more or less been finalised, please take note of the dates and plan well in advance for your leave, finances etc. YOU DON'T WANT TO MISS OUT! We are planning a big camp in August for 4 days from 5th to 9th of August which will incorporate weapons and energy seminars as well as plenty of regular training. The association camp is over the September break the very next month so save for both these events now! We are offering discounts for families to train so if you know of anyone else who would like to be part of any activity at the centre please encourage them to come in and try a class! Please contact me if you have any positive suggestions/ feedback on how we can improve the classes and also let us know if you are not happy! |
