The First Trading Sequence

At the beginning of Majora's Mask, Link meets an unfortunate fate of being transformed into a Deku Scrub. Having everything taken from him, Link has no way to return to the first day(and have the game saved. So for all those who can't yet save, here's the first trading sequence:

In North Clocktown, you will notice that on the far wall there is the great fairy's fountain. If you enter, she will ask you to find the lone fairy and bring it back to her so she can become whole again. This is fairly easy. The fairy will be located in the laundry pool(by day) or in the middle of East Clocktown(at night). These are easily reachable with your Deku abilities.

Once you have the lone fairy, bring it back to the Great Fairy Fountain. She will grant you the power of your bubble blast. This leads you to the next part.

Also in North Clocktown, you will see a boy(Jim) firing at a baloon with a blowgun. You have to use your bubble to burst the baloon. This will allow you to talk with him and his bomber gang. He will ask you to find them all before the next dawn.

Once you find them all(2 in east clocktown, 2 in North Clocktown, and 1 in West Clocktown) they will give you acess to the secret bombers hideout. It will be a five digit number that you have to tell to the boy in East Clocktown.

The boy in east clocktown is guarding a passageway, and when you tell him the number, he will let you through. Find your way through the passage and up the the telescope lab. You will be greeted by an old man.

Now that that is through, the old man will ask you if you want to look through the telescope. Say yes, and while you are looking, look at the top of the Clock Tower. You will see a cutscene with Skullkid and the moon will cry. This is just the item you need.

Once you are done looking, you will see a door that leads outside of the lab in the same room. Go through it and you will maintain the Moon's Tear.

Since you have the moon's tear, travel to South Clocktown. Near one of the small pools, you will see a yellow deku flower. If you go near it, a Deku Salesman will fly down and offer his flower you you if you have the moon tear. Give it to him, and he will give you the land deed.

Now your trading sequence is done. Burrow into the flower, and fly up to the clock tower at midnight of the final day(don't confuse this with dawn because you will die!). Anyway, the gate will open at midnight up the the clocktower.

When you reach the top you will see Skullkid with Tael(the second fairy). He shows off his power and then you must shoot him with your bubble. He will drop the ocarina and leave. Then Link has flashbacks of Princess Zelda and you will learn the Song of Time. You will return to the first day and save! Don't forget to talk to the Mask man after this!!!
