All those who have Oni Link, hear this out, all those who don't, go get Oni Link, all those who don't own Majora's Mask, go buy Majora's Mask. This may look a little complicated but its really not. Diehard Zelda fans may appreciate this one more. Ok, 'nuff said, onto the secret! How to be Oni Link outside Boss Rooms Most of you who have played Majora's Mask, are familiar with the Kafei/Anju Subquest. If not, seek refuge here. Anyway, the secret is devised by a simple trick in changing masks. Just before Sakon enters the hideout at 6pm on the final day, choose any mask to wear besides the fierce diety mask. (Note it might be a good idea to slow time now so that you have more time with Oni Link). Before Sakon and Kafei enter the hideout, put this mask on. Now you enter the hideout. Enter the room with the Suns Mask and Kafei will approach it, setting off an alarm. He will try to race after the suns mask, but needs you to hold a button so that he can enter. So, you help him out by stepping on the switch(you can put the mask on before you step on the switch at the VERY Latest!). Ok, now that you have switched to Kafei, press the start button and go to the Mask Subscreen. Select the fierce diety mask and place it over that mask link is wearing on the same c-button location. Now push the boulder onto the button as Kafei and you will switch back to Link. Link will transform into Oni Link. Now you have to help him to the end so that you can leave the hideout. Lets take a break and give an example: Before Sakon and Kafei enter the hideout you choose to have link wear the Keaton Mask and place it on the C-right selection. Now, you enter the hideout with them and step on the switch keeping the Keaton Mask on. Now you have become Kafei. You go to the Mask subscreen and place the fierce diety mask on the C-right selection over the Keaton mask. Complete pushing in the boulder onto the button and you will switch back to link. Link will be transformed into Oni Link. Now that you have been transfered into Oni Link, help Kafei to obtain the Suns Mask. You must do this in order to stay as Oni Link. Once you complete this, you will be outside of the Hideout as Oni Link. Jump into the river to escape from the canyon and go from the swamp into the main field. Now you have the remaining 6 hours to be Oni Link wherever you want!!! A few tips: -Don't enter the town, you will be trapped in and won't be able to leave. For some reason the guards will treat Oni Link like Deku Link and say "where's your parents?" (Its kinda funny). Also, If you enter buildings in the town (such as the inn) you will be trapped inside. -Take notice that you cannot go back in time or use the ocarina to save.
