Estrogen Television Programming

There seems to be an uneven amount of television on during the day hours. A large group of shows are dedicated to the women of this country. Mind you, I have no qualms about these programs. Well, except for Oprah. I can't stand that woman. I mean, I have to respect someone who dragged herself into the limelight and made herself a fortune and a great reputation. I just can't stand her show, her magazine, or her frickin' book club.

She is not the only one. Aside from Oprah, there is Rosie O' Donnel, TV soaps, trash talk shows, crap talk shows, and cheesy morning local channel talk shows. What is the deal with all this shit? Why is there no programming for the stay at home dads, job-searching men, lazy bums who suck on welfare (damn them), men who have night shifts, etc. We need our own television shows during the day.

These shows may be on cable, but there are some who cannot afford the luxury. Before you argue with that, take in mind that some people I knew in Peoria could not afford telephones. With the rise of unemployment in today's society, we need to cater to the needs of our nation's men. I am not talking of eliminating Oprah, though I would not argue. I am speaking of having male oriented television placed in the idiot box from the times of 7:30 AM till 5:00 PM.
