Using Internet Connection Sharing

Once you've configured the ICS server and the ICS clients, ICS is easy to use. From either the server or a client, run a Web browser, e-mail program, or other program that works with the Internet. When the program sends information to or requests information from the Internet, the ICS server connects to the Internet to provide the Internet connection.

To see how many people are sharing the Internet connection on the ICS server, double-click the ICS icon on the notification area of the taskbar (or click it and choose Status from the menu that appears). A small dialog box pops up, telling you how many computers are sharing the connection, including the ICS server itself.
