The first Good Charlotte Album is self titled and was released in 2000. This album for me is more pop and not as dark as the second but it also has alot more stuff about being different and standing up for who you are. Some of my favourite songs include 'Waldorph Worldwide' ~ love the little rap in that one, know it off by heart, always sing it in the street:p 'Change' ~ a very emotional one for me and 'Screamer'~ because for some reason that song always reminds me of Billy?! Don't know why tho....

I cant really compare this cd with the second because they are both completely different and I love them both for different reasons, but one thing i have to say is if you want to know gc really well you have to have both albums because the music on them is so different.

The second Good Charlotte Album is called 'The Young and the Hopeless' and was released in 2002. This album is more grown up than the first one but I wouldn't say that makes the first one bad in anyway, its good that they can produce two completely different pieces of work and show progression, which is pretty important.

I like the cd because of its dark side, songs like 'My bloody valentine' are kool because they show thought and theme. 'The day that I die' is also a keen favourite of mine. This cd also includes more songs about the twins feelings on their dad with a very emotional 'emotionless'. Its a work of Art.
