Ever be sitting back enjoying a good movie, book, TV show or even song and suddenly hear a reference to the classic horror film - The Exorcist?

I have several times, and in order to keep track of them, I'm going to have a list posted right here!  If you have any Exorcist references you'd like posted, let me know.

I'll check them out and post them!

There's a scene where Dr. Evil is having trouble with his rotating chair.  He calls out for a young priest, and an old priest, then chants "The power of Christ compels you!".  There was also a deleted scene where he mentions that the chair is possessed by the devil.

Mel Gibson arrives at work the morning he discovers he can hear female thoughts.  He starts to panic and sifts through a Yellow Pages phone directory saying "Exorcist!  I need an exorcist!"

There's a good line in Neil Simons 'The Goodbye Girl" the little girl in the film has been eating junk all day, and is very sick. and has a bad stomach ache. the Richard Dreyfuss character comes in the room and says what can I do to help?

She says: "did you ever see THE EXORCIST?"

 He says, " yes".

She says: "well you better get out of the room!!"
