Well, what does Alex do for a living? I work at a call center for about 100 hotlines. And no, no sex hotlines or anything, just pretty boring stuff like mobile phones, boilers, cars etc. People ring me and want to get some info sent to them and sometimes I can even tell them something usefull. Most of the time I just bullshit my way through the conversations though.
