We normally don't stop in Primm, but it's a significant landmark (welcome to Nevada!) and fun to see from the road... Driving to Vegas on I-15, Primm is your first glimpse of Nevada, and you know you're almost there!

Primm is really nothing but three giant hotel-casinos and outlet shopping... But in the middle of the desert, out in the "middle of nowhere" it's impressive to see at night! Almost surreal coming up on it after a long monotonous drive through the pitch black desert: Vegas-style 3-story neon signs flash monster-sized advertisements for buffet specials, not only lighting up I-15 but also illuminating the dry lake bed for miles around... A monorail crosses overhead, linking casinos which sit on both sides of I-15. A rollercoaster, larger-than-life (the world's tallest, when first constructed), seems to easily compete with the nearby mountains for sheer height.
