Oct. 27 (Day Two)

Fortunately the winds had died down very much by the second day. This was great news for fire containment, yet bad for air quality. (Without as much wind, the smoke & ash was heavier and more lingering.)

Thick haze of dormant smoke as seen looking across our complex (i.e. buildings in immediate foreground).

Just outside the entrance to the driveway into our complex.

Not showing up here on camera is the ash floating in the air, looking almost like snow flurries... But it was everywhere.

More of the same, looking out across our complex to the east.
