Oct. 28 (Day Three)

This is 12:00 noon! And the first day we could really smell it in Rancho Bernardo... My car was covered in ashes, even though parked in a covered parking place.

Noontime at the top of the hill
on our street...

Again, this is a completely cloudless day--it's 100% smoke which is darkening the sky.

Smoke-filtered sun... (I could look directly at it and see the larger of its sunspots--although they don't appear here in the picture).

 TV weather
forecast for the
day calling for "Smoke"!

Same view as from Day Two, i.e. on our street looking towards the driveway into our complex (on the right).
