The first Final Fantasy game to have a game squeal (Final Fantasy IV had an anime movie set about 20 years later). Its starts 2 years after the end of Final Fantasy X the world is a very different place now tht sins gone people are enjoying themselves without fear of sin.
But in this new world people are becoming lost becase they have never lived a life without sin and now that there religion was a big hoax everythig is seeming to fall apart.
now that summons are no longer need and neither is the army most people have moved to strange new job such as sphere hunting. As well a new professions there is a war bulding up between the Youth league and New Yeavon and that strage man that looks like him seems to have somthing to do with it all.

This game is very different form every other kind of Final Fantasy becasue theres no new area to explore becasue you already did that in the first game. Another strange thing is the freedom from the very first time you get on your ship you have access to everywhere in the game.
Personnally I think this is a great game becasue of its replay vaule and a great arcade feeling battle.
