When I was born, my dad worked in Flint.
At 7:30PM he left his job at Chevrolet bound for Caddilac in his Studebaker.
The car, having been formerly owned by an ice cream store, was painted red with lettering on the side.
Most cars, being black at that time, got out of the way, possibly thinking that it was the Fire Marshall on official bussiness.
Alas, he was late anyways, as I was born at 7:35PM that same evening.
Now Caddilacs were and still are manufactured in Detroit.
Studebakers however, were built in South Bend, but being just south of Niles, Michigan and east of Michigan City, we're gonna count them, just for he continuity of this story.
How many more Michigan cars do you think we can list?
