So, Halloween is here and I'm thinking it's time to dress up the place again. One day out of the year that children can dress up as adults, and adults can act as children.

And when would be a better time to tell of the automobile named Blood, built in Kalamazoo from 1903-1905.

The Blood Brothers (honest) Auto & Machine Co built these 5 seater, 4 speed, tonneaus costing $1,800. Engine was a 2 cylinder opposed under the hood, and drive was through a shaft to the rear axle. The same company later built the Cornelian Cyclecar.

Information on these cars is scarce, and pictures elusive, so I figured you might be interested in seeing how I "costumize" my barn for the annual Halloween party.

The structure was featured this month during "Open Barn" Day, presented by Courthouse Square Association of Eaton County, in celebrating the "Year of the Barn" as a stop on their fall color tour.
