Waldon Reed, Jr. has been a freelance musician in the Detroit area since 1982. He received his Bachelor of Music degree in guitar performance from Marygrove College (1989) and his Master of Music degree in composition from Wayne State University in Detroit (1992). In June of 2000 he released his 2nd CD, From Today Until Dark, a fabulous new collection of jazz/rock instrumentals. This comes hot on the heels of his '99 debut release Resonance Reconnaissance. His 3rd disc, Songs of Truth and Judgment (a christian rock opera) was released in November of 2002. New for 2003 is a Christmas CD due out in late November.
As a student he has received numerous awards for both composing and performing. Of these, most notable was his first place finish nationally in the Music Teachers' National Association Student Composition Contest (1989) for his composition Duo Fantasy (flute and guitar). Other classical works include: Variations for String Quartet, Diversion Dance (concert band), and The Cask of Amontillado (full orchestra).
In addition to recording projects and local performing with various groups including the Aulos Duo, a flute and classical guitar pairing in which his wife Celeste is the flutist, Waldon maintains a thriving teaching schedule and is part of the adjunct faculty of Marygrove College
.
Paul Laginess, has played bass with Waldon, both live and on recordings since 1987. He's been active in and around Detroit since 1971. Best known for his work in the late '70's with the jazz/rock/r&b/disco(?) group, Air Condo, today he dwells in the lowest nether frequencies of Waldon Reed's exciting compositions with skill and aplomb. His focus has always been on the lyric and melodic possibilities of the instrument and his finest efforts to date lie in the stimulating "grooves" of From Today Until Dark, Resonance Reconnaissance and most recently 4 of the 11 tracks from Songs of Truth and Judgment.
By day, Laginess does computer work for Ford Motor Company and writes a film review column for the Truck Division newsletter, Between the Treads. In 2002, he began a business partnership with Artist Launch, a web site dedicated to the promotion of independent musical recording artists.
.
George Wietecha is the man behind the traps on the From Today Until Dark and Songs of Truth and Judgment CDs. His formidable skill and musical sensitivity as a percussionist has kept him nearly constantly in demand as a live and studio player in the Detroit area.
Norm Euker was the man behind the electronic drum performances of Resonance Reconnaissance. He's been a freelance drummer/percussionist in the Detroit area since 1979. He received his Bachelor of Music degree from Wayne State University in 1983 and continued to perform and teach as well as manage a retail music store in Royal Oak Michigan for several years. Wanting more from his career he returned to Wayne State and received his Computer Science degree in 1995. Euker's jazz influences include artists like Bill Bruford, Steve Gadd, and Chick Corea as well as groups like Weather Report and Return to Forever.
Raymond G. Roberts received his B.A. in music education from Albion College in Michigan and his M.M. in vocal performance from the University of Michigan. Too numerous to mention, Roberts has performed nearly every 'standard repertoire' part for the classical tenor. In 1998, he entered and won a contest to be the back-up singer for the National Anthem vocalist at the Detroit Red Wings games. In the summer of 2001, Roberts joined Reed in the studio to record many of the vocal tracks for Songs of Truth and Judgment. After teaching 13 years in the Livonia Public Schools he is now serving as a full time music minister at St. James United Methodist Church in Tampa, Fl.
Dawn Roberts earned a M.M. degree in vocal performance from Eastern MIchigan University and since has been primarily a public school music director. In addition, she has also directed a children's church choir, performed in various church musicals, vocally supported different music ministries, and provided vocal solos for church and community functions. While in the public school system, Dawn directed high school musicals, developed excellent choral groups, and coached soloists in competitions. In the summer of 2001, she joined Reed in the studio to record many of the vocal tracks for Songs of Truth and Judgment.

Jenni McCormick has found her musical place in the Detroit area as an 'in demand' piano accompanist and instructor. Her depth of musical insight and dynamic graces the sanctuary of Covenant Community Church in Redford on a weekly basis. She makes her recording debut on several of the tracks from Songs of Truth and Judgment.
