Welcome to my home page. My name is Shona, I am 32 years old and live in Edmonton, Alberta Canada. I work in the Natural Gas Industry here and I am also a part-time University student working towards my B.A. with a major in Environmental Science. I love to swim, I am a certified lifeguard with the Lifesaving Society of Canada. I love animals, horses and dogs the most. I have one dog, a boxer, who's name is Lance, and a beautiful horse named Montana. Horses are a major part of my life and I have riden showjumpers for many years. Oh and did I mention that I love golf? LOL

Gregory James

I am dedicating this page to Gregory. Greg was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma and fought for 15 long months against the dreaded disease. Greg passed away May 17, 1999. Greg was my best friend and more, I loved him very much. He was such a wonderful person who loved music, children, the beach, medicine and life. He had graduated from medical school in pediatric medicine, it was just one of the things I was so proud of him for.

Greg always said that you were loved if you were in someone's heart forever...He was definately loved by me...You are in my heart forever Greg, I will miss you dearly.

I am dedicating the following three poems to him.

Someday Again

When days are sad and lonely
and everything goes wrong
I seem to hear you whisper,
"Cheer up and carry on."
Every time I see your picture,
you smile and seem to say
"Don't cry, I'm only sleeping,
we'll meet again someday."
God saw you and stood beside you
and whispered, "Come and rest."
You bade no one a last farewell,
not even said "Good-bye."
You were gone before we knew it,
and only God knows why
A million times I've missed you,
a million times I've cried
If love alone could have saved you,
you never would have died
In life we loved you dearly,
in death we love you still,
In our hearts you hold a place
no one can ever fill.
It broke my heart to lose you,
but you didn't go alone.
