- Highest FG& PAT kicking percentage in a season- Gary Anderson, 100.0, (94-of-94). Breaks old record of 98.4 by Atlanta’s Norm Johnson in 1993 (60-of-61).
- Most touchbacks on kickoffs (kicking off from 30-yard line),- Mitch Berger, 40. Breaks old record of 29 held by New York Jets’ John Hall. Denver’s Brad Daluiso had 52 when teams kicked off from 35-yard line.
- Most 40-yard TD receptions, season- Randy Moss. Ties record held by Los Angeles’ Elroy "Crazy Legs" Hirsch in 1951.
- Most touchdown recpetions, season, rookie- Randy Moss, 17. Breaks old record of 13 held by Bill Howton in 1952 and John Jefferson in 1979.
- Most touchdown receptions by a tandem- Randy Moss & Cris Carter, 29 (Moss-17, Carter-12). Breaks the old record of 27 held by a pair of San Francisco 49er duos, Jerry Rice (22) and Mike Wilson (5) or Dwight Clark (5) in 1987 and by Rice(17) and John Taylor (10) in 1989.
