2000
2/20:
The title of the new
album is Shine, and the due date is still May 22. Some of the song titles
are: "I Wanna Be That Girl", "Outside Providence",
"Real Bad Mood", "Nobody Ever Died of a Broken Heart"
(Patty Loveless sings on this with Amanda), "A Little More Love in
the World" (Tyler sings lead on this a great ballad), and asong with
the word Shine in the title, hence the name of the album. - Thanks to

2/13:
After Midnite was great!
Too funny :0) Here is some stuff you might be interested on knowing...
Amanda's dating one
of Tyler's friends named Josh. He works at a surf shop in Nashville and
the two have been going out for a few months, Amanda says it isn't serious.
(Awww go Amanda, I'm happy for you!) By the way I should mention Tyler
hangs out with guys that are like 20 so Josh is just a little older than
Amanda :0)
Steve set the lawn on
fire, mulching leaves the other day. Chris saw him hosing off the lawn
and asked if he was washing the lawn and he said no, it's on fire and
asked her to go check on it.
Amanda has been given
a script for a movie called "White Trailer Trash". (go Amanda
again!)
The only time Tyler's
ever asked a girl out is in public school. (years ago, awwwwww)
Steve's eye is almost
all better after a 4 wheeling accident a week ago. (yea!)
Tyler has a crush on
Goldie Hawn's daughter (but she's now married so Amanda says she guesses
he can't wait for her any longer).

The single "I Want
To Be That Girl" will be out March 19th.
The album (not yet titled)
will be out May 22nd. The Wilkinson's would love to hear your suggestions
for it!
2/5/00: The chat was
great. The Opry was great. They sang 26 cents and I Want To Be That Girl
(great new song, hope it's a big hit for them).
The Wilkinson's will
be on "After Midnite" at midnite Thursday morning. Go here
and click on stations to see if your station will be broadcasting it.
If it won't I know you can listen live online here
and many other stations too. Check it out if you can.
2/2/00:
The new Wilkinsons
single, I Want To Be That Girl, will be released by mid March. They have
just completed the photo shoot for the album and the video for the single.
The video was shot in a local laundromat. Not a very romantic sounding
location, but you will find Amanda with a (actor) love interest. Look
for the video on TNN and GAC by mid March. The album (yet to be titled)
is due out May 22nd.
With both a photo and
video shoot scheduled it was a little iffy if they would happen after
a 4-wheeling accident on Sunday. Steve and Tyler were 4-wheeling on their
property when an unexpected tree branch caught Steve in the eye. The intense
pain prompted a visit to the doctor. After Steve received treatment, it
was determined this incident would not effect their schedule. His eye
was red and swollen and although he was in pain, the photo and video shoot
went on as planned.
*Omigosh poor Steve,
that must have hurt :( Glad he's okay.

be singing at the Grand Ole Opry Friday and Saturday. Listen online at

The Wilkinsons are releasing
their new single, I Want To Be That Girl. Right now they are doing a new
photo shoot for the album and working on a new video for the single. The
album will be released this spring.
The Wilkinsons will
start a tour of radio stations in February.

(nobody, not even DT has heard it yet).

11/27/00
In the 1999 video there
is stunt tea in Tyler's mug...he was told not to drink it because it was
6 hours old.
The Wilkinson's have added a bunch of new and cover songs to their set
list.
One of Tyler's favorite candy choices is Hershey kisses.
Amanda was sick with strep throat (but she's feeling much better). The
Nov. 19th show was postponed, but the 2 St. Catharine's shows on Nov.
20th went on as scheduled.
They have recorded 6 songs so far for the next album.
You can pick/kick 1999 on the Disney Channel's website...currently it's
losing, COME ON GUYS GO VOTE! Lets get 1999 on the Disney channel. Go

This is going to be
long...lots of news I have to post from the past almost 2 months (oops
sorry guys).
The Wilkinson's were
recently in the Caymans on a cruise. While there they gave a small acoustic
concert and
helped with a mermaid dedication.
Recently the Wilkinson's
were on the Grand Ole Opry, singing "26 Cents" and "Back
Where I Come From" and took some
time to chat with their fans.
The Wilkinson's are
currently on their way to Japan.
Amanda recently purchased
2 horses (Penelope and Cricket) at a yard sale.
The Wilkinson's have
moved into a new house.
The Wilkinson's won
4 CCMA's! (Fans Choice, Song of the Year, Album of the Year, and Group/Duo
of the Year). Way to go! They totally deserved it! Not only that but they
opened the show with "Jimmy's Got a Girlfriend" and did a little
ditty to announce the "Male Artist" award.
The Wilkinson's pet
hedgehog Tiggy had 4 babies, one of which they kept (Gus).
8/25/00:
My good pal Michelle's
website (Wilkinson Village) has just won Wilkinsononline's "Website
of the Month".

7/23/00: This is going
to be long...I'll catch ya up on all the news since the 2 concerts I've
been to...some of this comes from the Wilkinson's themselves...
Tyler has so much Star
Wars stuff in his room, that he has to do his homework on the floor because
his desk is full.
Whenever they go to Walmart Tyler gets more Star Wars stuff.
(*L his mom always says he doesn't have room, but he tells her he'll make
room)
Tyler used to pretend lightsaber fight as a kid (somehow I can picture
this easily).
Tyler wants a life size Yoda (yes they make those, around $300 so good
luck on that Tyler).
Kiaya is getting mandolin lessons from some bandmate (I think that's what
she said)
Kiaya doesn't find it that weird that people scream at Steve, Amanda,
and Tyler...she's gotten used to it.
The Wilkinson's were nominated for 2 TNN Music City News awards, but unfortunately
lost.
The Wilkinson's will be going to Japan in October.
The Wilkinson's are starting a Canadian Tour in November.
Nothing But Love went gold in the US on May 16th.
The Wilkinson's booth won first place at Fan Fair. Jean-Michael (the scuba
diver) spent some time at it and will be with them in the Caymen Islands
in October (oh how I'd love to go on that trip).
Amanda graduated from Trenton High School on June 28th.
Tyler has passed his drivers license and is looking at a plum PT Cruiser
for his car (still has to convince Steve tho).
Kiaya has a secret pizza recipe.
Kiaya just had a birthday - July 14th
5/14/00: The Wilkinson's
will be picking a winner for the Caymen Islands contest, Thursday June
