2001
9/25: Shine will not
be released in the US or Canada after all.
9/13: Congratulations
to the Wilkinsons on nabbing the CCMA award for "Best Group or Duo"
Monday nite. If you weren't able to catch the awards, they hosted as well
as sung a brand new song "Paper Doll". Tyler has died his hair
blonde, and Amanda cut hers.
9/10: Those of you with
CMT or CBC don't forget to watch the CCMA's tonite, go Wilks! The Wilkinsons
will release a single for BNA soon. They hope for the album to be out
in March. One song that they've already cut for it is "I Gotta Get
Outta Here"
8/2:
The Wilkinsons are nominated
for 3 CCMA's! They are up for "Fans Choice", "Video of
the Year" for 1999, and "Group of the Year". Congratulations
and best of luck to ya. You can vote for The Wilkinsons in "Fans

Chris and Kiaya have been staying at home some shows to watch Tyler's
horses colt.
DT's only 3 days younger than Steve. His Birthday is August 21st so if
you see him around then be sure to wish him a happy birthday.
7/17:
The Wilkinsons have
signed with BNA, a division of RCA. Look for a single out in September
and a possible album release early next year (maybe around February).
When Giant merged with Warner Bro's the Wilkinsons felt it would be a
good time to get out, so they left. They are very excited to be a part
of this new label and can't wait to work with them. The future is looking
great! Way to go Wilks!

Shine is available in Australia, and will be available in Canada on July
10th. It will not be available in the US.
The Wilkinson's are working on a different record for us, out next year
sometime.
The Wilkinson's have just been signed to a major record label! (If I get

5/26:
The Wilkinson's are

The Wilkinson's horse had her colt (it wasn't twins).
The Wilkinson's were not at the ACM Awards.
The Wilkinson's got a new dog, an Akita named Maggie. They are going to
be getting another chocolate lab (this time a girl).
Shine has been pushed back again. The Wilkinson's don't want to rush putting
it out with all the label changing and such, so please stay patient. When
it comes out, it'll be much worth the wait :0) There may be a few song
changes on the final album also.
5/11:
I Wanna Be That Girl
is back to #7 on GAC! Keep it going up guys (and gurls)!
The Wilkinson's wrote a new song entitled "Dallas Didn't Do It"
on April 19th.
Tyler has lead vocals ;0)

Giant Records closed
its doors on April 13th. The Wilkinson's (along with other artists) have
been switched to Warner Brothers. Rest assured though, Steve said they'll
be fine. They have a few other labels looking at them right now too :0)

Giant Records is no
more. The Wilkinson's (as well as all the other Giant artists) will be
moved to Warner Brothers.
It's sad because The Wilkinson's said that Giant was the most family oriented
label, good luck to them and we'll be supporting them all the way right
gang? Shine, will however be out under Giants name.
4/13:

26th (yep it's been pushed back).
4/04/01: Added a new
banner and the pic from the IWBTG single, now out in stores :0) I was
on CRL! I was the first caller! I sounded like a dork LOL but I'm so happy
I got through, I can't believe it. It was way cool! Anyone see it?
4/03/01: Yea! I can
finally update! Angelfire still doesn't work downstairs but my dad copied
my files to a CD rom and I copied em to
the drive upstairs so here I am. I've only been wanting to update my page
for a week, stupid angelfire. I don't know why it won't work
downstairs, it always has.
Updated the library,
geography, video production, yearbook, and newspaper pages.
Updated the choir page with the lyrics to "I Go Crazy".

Be That Girl" has been pushed back to April 3rd. The album is scheduled
for release late spring.

The Wilkinson's will
be in the Caymans this summer, first week of August.
Welcome Mark Easterling
(lead guitar), Kevin Aerosmith (fiddle, mandolin, acoustic guitar), Tom
Bentley (keyboards, former Bryan White bandmate), and George Lawrence
(drummer) to the band. Last nite was there first gig with The Wilkinson's
and it was great! I've got pics of them on the photography page under
digital pics from Red Wing.
3/07:
No word on when "I
Want To Be That Girl" will be on CMT. It's still not on the listing.
Will let you know if I hear anything.
3/06:
The Wilkinson's are
going to be on on GAC March 19 from 5-6pm EST on the Request Live show

Exciting news for ya'll...The
Wilkinson's new video "I Want To Be That Girl" premieres tonight
at 8:30 central on GAC's Fast Forward! CMT should have it next week. From
what I've heard about the video it's sure to be great :0)
