Chapter 1: Here and Now It's a warm, sunny day in Ontario on the set of MTV's "Win a date with Tyler Wilkinson" as hundreds of fans huddle around the stage awaiting the Wilkinson's performance after the show. Carson Daly: "Hello and welcome back to MTV's So Cal Ontario! I am your host Carson Daly and all morning 50 of The Wilkinson's biggest fans have been battling it out to win a date with country's very own Tyler Wilkinson. { screams echo throughout the set } That's right, first we had the obstacle course, then the song and dance competition, until finally we're down to 3. These 3 girls will test their wits in Tyler trivia, and the winner will walk away with front row seats and backstage passes to tomorrow nite's show, plus a date afterwards with Tyler. Let's get to know our finalists. And you are?" Girl #1: "My name is Ashley and I love Tyler! Girl #2: "I'm Dana and Wilkinson's rule! Girl #3: "Um I'm Shannon." Carson: "Alright, it's nice to meet you girls. You've gotten this far so I take it you're pretty big Wilkinson fans, what would you do if you won? Would it be like a dream come true?" Ashley: "Oh my God Yes! I would totally freak out! I have spent many sleepless nites over this (before this contest I could only dream but then I heard about this contest and I just flipped out, I HAD to get in on it, so my mom drove me the 12 hours after begging and begging). I wanna win SO BAD! I just love Tyler Wilkinson, you have NO clue he is so HOTT! Oh please oh please let me win, I'll do anything!" Carson: "I'm sure you would { mutters to himself You're obsessed enough }. Dana what would you do?" Dana: "Holy cow, I'd be in shock! I've dreamed about this, but never thought it possible. It would be TOTALLY awesome to spend some time with that hottie!" Carson: "Ok, Shannon?" Shannon: "Wow, I dunno…I'd be in heaven." Carson: "Well there you have it. One of these girls is going to win and be a very happy camper. Now onto the trivia portion of our show, which will determine our winner. Good luck to you all, and may the best fan win. Tyler why don't you come on out here and sit by me?" (Tyler walks out looking very nervous and sits on a stool beside Carson) Carson: "Thank you for joining us today. I've just met your finalists, nice girls. We will be asking each of the 3 girls questions about you to determine our winner. What I'm going to need from you is for you to take this whiteboard and marker and write down the correct answer, but be sure not to let anyone see it until I ask, sound good?" Tyler: "Sure, glad I could come." (takes the whiteboard and marker) (All 3 girls sit down on stools onstage and are each handed a marker and a whiteboard. Carson sits on a stool across from them with trivia cards.) Carson: "Now, I'm going to ask you a question about Tyler and I want each of you to write your answer on the whiteboard and cover your answer up until we ask for it. Okay question number 1. What movie would Tyler most likely want to go see on a date? Your choices are A) A Scary Movie B) Star Wars or C) Disney's The Kid. Take a minute to write down your answers and wait until I call on you. Ashley what did you choose?" Ashley: (holds up whiteboard) "I chose B, Star Wars! That's his favorite movie!" Carson: "Dana?" Dana: (holds up whiteboard) "B Star Wars." Carson: "Ok Shannon?" Shannon: (holds up whiteboard) "Star Wars." Carson: "Tyler, what is the correct answer?" Tyler: (holds up whiteboard) "Star Wars all the way!!!!! I love those movies." (smiles at the girls and Ashley looks like she's about to pass out) Carson: "You're all correct! (his assistant places a sticker on each girl). Question number two. Which of the following would be Tyler's ideal dream date? A) the beach B) an amusement park C) a concert" Ready? (the 3 girls nod) Okay Ashley what was your answer?" Ashley: (holds up whiteboard) "B, Amusement park because I know he just loves rides and videogames!" Carson: "Ok…Dana?" Dana: (holds up whiteboard) "I'd have to go with b amusement park" Carson: "And Shannon?" Shannon: (holds up whiteboard) "a concert?" Carson: "Ooo a difference of opinion…Tyler your answer please?" Tyler: (holds up whiteboard) "B) an amusement park." Carson: "Alright that leaves Dana and Ashley with 2 points each, Shannon with one. But don't fear all could still win. (an assistant puts another sticker on Ashley and Dana) For our last question we have…What would Tyler be most likely to sing on the first date?" A) One of Us In Love B) a song he just wrote or C) he wouldn't. Tyler you must be getting pretty nervous here. What is it like sitting here like this waiting to hear what girl you'll go on a date with, girls you don't even know?" Tyler: "Yeah uh I'm a little nervous. They all seem nice tho, so it's cool." Carson: "Great. Girls your answers please, starting with Ashley." Ashley: (holds up whiteboard) "C, he wouldn't because he's shy. I LOVE shy guys! They are soooo CUTE!" Carson: "Okay and you Dana?" Dana: (holds up whiteboard) "One of Us In Love?" Carson: "And now you Shannon, what did you choose?" Shannon: (holds up whiteboard) "C, he wouldn't." Carson: "Interesting…Tyler what song would you sing on the first date?" Tyler: (holds up whiteboard) "None, I'd be too shy." Carson: "Awww how sweet, huh girls? (screams echo through the audience as an assistant places stickers on Shannon and Dana). And the results are…Dana 2 points, Shannon 2, and Ashley 3…Ashley, you're our winner! (Ashley's mouth drops open in surprise as she stares at Tyler and then lets out a shriek). Shannon and Dana, you have been great contestants and we will be giving you both an autographed pic for joining us. Tyler come meet your date." {Tyler walks over to Ashley and hands her a flower, Ashley starts hypervenelating} Carson: (laughs) "Congratulations Ashley. How do you feel right now? Can you believe it?" Ashley: "No Oh my god I won I really won!!!! Thank you thank you thank you! (looks at Tyler) um…." Carson: "A little starstruck eh?" Ashley: "Oh my God yeah it's he's…." {Tyler looks down at the ground embarrassed} Carson: "Well Ashley we hope you and Tyler have fun, but right now stay tuned for the Wilkinson's performance." {screams echo throughout the set as the curtains close on chapter 1}
