pcard6
Hall Street 1925
Looking West on Hall Street. The first building was probably a Hardware Store at this time. It was torn down in 1981. The second building was a general merchandise store. Its still hear but the original front was torn off in the early 1990's. The third building was a bank this and the next two buildins are still around, next ones a bar, then another bank, then a cafe (torn down in 1972, next is a drug store (Burnt down in 1993), and the old hotel is in the back of the picture.

Hall Street around 1910
This picture looks East on Hall Street. The first building was Busse Brothers Hardware at this time. (Burnt down 1993) I'm not sure what the second was at this time possibly a eatery (torn down 1972). Third building was the Farmers and Merchants Bank (Still around but looks nothing like that). Next was either a bank or a bar (Still around looks nothing like that). Next is another bank (Still around looks nothing like that). Then the General Merchandise store (Looks nothing like that anymore). Next is a hardware store (Torn down 1981). And to the back is the meat market (A fire destroyed the upstairs portion in the 1940's today it only has one story).

Hall Street Looking East 1943
Almost the same view as above. The first building was a drug store by this time. Second was a cafe. Third is the new bank (This is still around and looks basically the same). Fourth is the old bank but by this time it was the Coast To Coast Store. Next two are bars the building on the corner was the Minneapolis Moline Dealer. And the Pre-Fire Meat Market is to the back of the picture.

Hall Street 1948
Most of the buisnesses are still the same from the last postcard. This shows the meat market after the fire. You can also see part of the elevator on the right side of the picture (Replaced in 1979).
