I use my own rating system on the items in my collection. While you may end up disagreeing with my ranking, please understand that I do take quite a bit of time in creating them. Each disc is evaluated to give three ratings: sound quality, performance, and the all-important overall rating. In a future version of the track listings, I might create ratings for each song and list them.
Remember, the performance component is very subjective...I'm biased towards songs I like for example.
Anyway, when you are viewing the discs, the ratings are in this format:

However, this is great music from a good film (see the director's cut, the studio butchered it and misplaced the music in the film). The point is, it might be a 3 across the board if I didn't have a special liking for these sessions. |
