Launch date and time: February 26, 2005 - rain-out from the 19th
Launch location: Tickwood Ranch
Launch wind and weather: 6-8 Mph and warm.
These 33 flights were a make up from the previous week of rain and those who make it had a great time. The winds were from the South/ Southwest at about 6-8 mph and died down to zero at the end of the day. Alan got to launch his Kling Wing multiple times after the repair from the week before, and Dave M. and I did well with our Spaceshipones. Dave Lucas and Mark Bazinet had some great flights with there great looking fleet and even Dave Alburty was on hand at the last to launch a couple. Alan even saved a motor for Carol to see the Wing in action. Overall it was a good day of rocketry even if Dave Bucher had the flu and the clubs equipment. Thanks for getting my Interlock launcher working last week because it proved very functional for this launch.
We all talked rockets and upcoming events and Dave A. was encouraged for the idea of a second gate. We will all be glad to help fence mend when needed plus whatever chores are around to be done. We can double as rocketeers and ranch-hands!
There was 1 staged flight (6), and 1 clustered flight (27).
