Club Objective: To promote fun, safe, and educational rocketry in the greater Kansas City area.
We have a new web site: www.kcrockets.org and a matching domain name; join us there! The Kansas City Association of Rocketry was established in 1998 by several active NAR members to promote sport and competition model rocketry in the city. The club continues to grow and provide ten organized launches each year, some with high power waivers, and two with NAR sanctioned competition events. We also strive to serve our community by holding demonstration launches for shcools, displaying our models at the library, assisting with the Team America Rocketry Challange, and other youth activities. We are proud to be a chartered section of the National Association of Rocketry. All are welcome at our launches & meetings; follow the calendar of events link to find the locations and times. Feel free to contact us should you wish for our assistance with your school classes, scout troup, or other organization. You may also wish to join us on our Yahoo Group.
